My brother-in-law started a business called OmniManage and they made a web app that is a really cool way for small businesses to keep track of their company details. Its called DaytaLists. It aims to replace spreadsheets being used as information management programs. It's as easy as using a spreadsheet, but it's a lot more efficient than a spreadsheet for storing lots of information/details about your business, kind of like Microsoft Access or similar programs. Anyway, check it out and tell me what you think. He has just started marketing it so if you have any advice about how to make the website better or any good marketing ideas, I'm sure he would be grateful.

Incentives for January...see below


A few ideas to help build your business!

Some of you don't want to be pushy, and it is important to not be pushy, but don't be afraid to let people know they can sell these and sign up at very low cost.  I just talked to an old coworker about it and she is signing up before she moves to CA. next month and I had no idea that she would want to until I brought it up. 
Always find ways to keep building, recruiting, and marketing in ways you are comfortable with.  Dentist, Doctors, and many offices are happy to have a safe product.  Check out a warmer and candle to them for a month to see how they like it!
Do booths.  Let me know if you want me to send you my banner and tablecloth.  It is worth the money.  I know someone who got 4 recruits in December for doing a booth.  Be sure to let people at booths know they can sell Scentsy too.
I've heard of someone going door to door carrying a few warmers and candles.  She was trying to save for college and did really well with that approach.  Not my favorite, but for some maybe.

Business Cards Incentive

Some of the incentives for January includes a pack of business cards.  I have been having trouble ordering them and they are not in stock.  I may need to come up with an alternative, but for now, those of you who win that incentive will get them just as soon as I can order and send them to you.  Hopefully they will be back in stock by Feb. 10th, but just know that you will get them even if late and I appreciate all of your work!  

Possible Team Name Change

Just a quick update...I am still undecided about our Scentsy Team name.  I had to register with a team name when I signed up for Director Boot Camp.  The name I am thinking our team will be Candle Kickers.  I will keep you informed and there may a blog site change.
